Lookups - Sublity API
The feeds hand back ids, not names — nine different kinds of them. Without this call you cannot render a single job listing; you would have a screen full of guids.
Most of these lists belong to the customer, not to the platform. Two customers will spell the same idea differently, order it differently, and have entries the other does not. So there is no global table to hard-code, and the same id means nothing in a different account.
One call rather than nine endpoints, because a partner needs all of them to draw one job — and nine round trips is nine chances to skip one and ship a screen showing a raw guid.
